What Project 6 is
Not six trips.
One series.
Each mission is announced in its own right. The first is below. Missions 02 to 06 are sealed until Ash chooses to open them - and when he does, it will be on his own channels first.
Six expeditions, filmed and told as one story: exploration, human performance, the knowledge of the people who live in these places, and the pressure those places are under. Twelve months, six of the most extreme environments on Earth, and a documentary series built out of all of it.
In a decade Ash has set five Guinness World Records, four of them world firsts, across Mongolia, Madagascar, the Yangtze and Suriname. Project 6 is six more attempts in the time most people would take to recover from one.

Mission 01 takes Ash more than 700 kilometres down the Sangha River, from Nola in the Central African Republic to Mossaka in the Republic of the Congo - by inflatable kayak, through one of the last great wildernesses left on the planet.
Before he puts in, he will spend time with the communities who live in the forest and have read it for generations. Along the way he is working with local partners and supporting a grassroots NGO, documenting what the river, the wildlife and the people along it are up against.
Malaria. Infection. Water that cannot be trusted. Heat and humidity that do not let up after dark. And, for most of it, several days between him and the nearest doctor.

Not the countries. Not the environments. Not the order. Every one of the remaining five missions will be announced in its own right, and the first place each one lands will be Ash’s own channels.
